Nolan Edward Lambey, 91, of Ivydale, entered into rest Monday, April 20, 2009.
Born December 15, 1917, in Rush Fork, he was the son of the late Edward and Lula Hughes Lambey.
He was retired from Elkem Metal, a WWII Army Veteran, was a member of Rush Fork Community Church and a member of the VFW of Gauley Bridge.
Nolan is survived by his wife ,Corinne Ann Hardway Lambey of Ivydale; son, John (Grace) Lambey of Ivydale; daughter, Mary Jane Hendrick of Rush Fork; brother, Ted Lambey of Rush Fork; sisters, Thelma Helmick of Buckhannon, Leota McConkey of Elkview and one granddaughter, Catherine (Jeff) Kogar of Glasgow.,
Funeral service will be 11 am Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at Rush Fork Community Church, Rush Fork, with Minister Dewey Tanner officiating, Burial will be in McLaughlin Cemetery, Rush Fork.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay, is in charge of arrangements.
