Madeline Fern (Holcomb) Lane, 83, of Bickmore, entered into rest Saturday, October 6, 2012.
Born December 11, 1928 in Clay, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Chessie Holcomb.
She was a retired assistant Postmaster, a member of the Fola Missionary Baptist Church and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary.
Madeline is survived by her husband Maynard Lane of Bickmore, daughters, Sharon (Bruce) Ford of Hurricane, Christie (Jerry) Shafer of White Oak, Marsha (Scottie) Stowers of Danville, 2 grandchildren, Eric Ford and Ryan Stowers, 2 great-grandchildren Wyatt Ford and Joey Lamb.
Funeral service will be held 12:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at Fola Missionary Baptist Church with Minister Daniel Tanner officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery, Bickmore.
Friends may call one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.
