Hattie Merle Summers, 91, of Wallback, entered into rest Sunday, May 21, 2017.
Born March 11, 1926 in Wallback, she was the daughter of Wyatt and Dorcas (Morris) Gray. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Olvey Dorr Summers; and thirteen brothers and sisters.
Merle attended Pleasant Hill Church as long as her health permitted. She loved her family and music, with a joyful heart.
Merle is survived by her son, Tim (Rose) Summers; and daughter, Reva (Mike) Schoonover all of Wallback; three grandchildren, Lea Summers, Corey Moore and Kelly West; and one great-granddaughter, Elora Denton.
Graveside service will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Wallback.

A good Christian woman has been promoted to Heaven. She was the last of the original family of Wyatt and Dorcas Gray, a prominent Wallback Family. I remember Merle during the many large family reunions cooking, baking, serving food and washing dishes. May God Bless her family.
