Catherine Genevieve Paxton, 91, of Wallback, entered into rest Thursday, January 4, 2018.
Born June 30, 1926, in Spring Hill, she was the daughter of the late Stevenson and Lola (Osborne) Gray.  In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by husband, Oscar Paxton and son, Lloyd Paxton.
Genevieve is survived by her son, Charles “Toot”( Patricia “Trish”) Paxton of Wallback; grandchildren, Michael Paxton, Angela (Andy) Gardner, Terri (Jason) Kelly, Chrissy Summers and Kelly Paxton; great-grandchildren, Andre Kelly, Jackson Kelly, Eli Gardner and Ian Paxton; brothers, Robert (Diana) Gray and Ronald (Marie) Gray of Wadsworth Ohio.
Funeral service will be held 1:00 P.M. Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay, with Minister David McLaughlin officiating.  Burial will be in Gray Cemetery, Valley Fork.
Friends may gather with family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

So sorry for your loss.. I knew her as "Junie" and loved her very much as well as her husband, Junior. They were both beautiful people So lucky to have known them.

I just saw the obituary and wanted to say I'm so sorry for the loss of Genevieve. She was a very special person. We always enjoyed stopping to visit her and Junior when we were home.
