Jerry Gordon Legg, 80, of Duck, entered into rest May 20, 2019, at his residence.
Born on March 22, 1939, in Harrison, he was the son of the late Graden “Doc” and Lula Bragg Legg. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by brothers, Ralph and Terry; sisters, Era, Beulah, Ruth, Bonnie and Doris.
He was a retired well tender for Equitable Gas Company and a 50 year member of the Strange Creek Masonic Lodge No. 130 in Strange Creek, WV.
He is survived by his wife, Iona Mae (Blankenship) Legg, son, Richard Legg of Duck; daughter, Debra Legg of Duck; sister, Maude Barns of The Villages, FL; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 1 pm Saturday, March 25, 2019, at Wilson-Smith Funeral Home, Clay, with Minister Wayne Litton officiating. Burial will follow in Clay Memorial Gardens, Clay, with Masonic Service.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
