Gary “Lynn” Legg of Clay County, West Virginia entered into eternal peace January 23rd, 2021. He walked through Heavens gates and into the good Lords hands at 7:15p.m. with his three daughters by his side. Lynn passed peacefully on his prized farm in Harrison, WV as he wished. Lynn was born and raised in West Virginia where he was a prideful coal miner and retired NGK spark-plug manufacturer. His last job on Earth was taking care of the Legg Estate which was his pride and joy.
Lynn was mostly known for his warm smile, twinkling blue eyes, and willingness to help no matter who or what. He loved to tell stories and his audience was always captivated at his life experiences and outlook on life. Lynn mostly loved to tell stories about his hunting adventures at camp and his youth where he stated many times that, “I wouldn't trade my childhood for a million dollars”. He trained up most of the Legg boys to be the hunters and men they are today along with countless other friends.
Preceding Lynn in death was his father, Ralph Legg, brothers John and Graden Legg, and his beloved wife Stephanie Fields-Legg. Surviving family is his mother, Dimple Legg, brother Roger Legg, sisters Trish (Legg) Tyo and Rachel (Legg) Massey. Daughters Tracy (Legg) Ferrell (husband Dana, children Brooks, and great Grandson Deagan Ferrell and daughter Danica), Sammie (Legg) Cogar (husband Daniel, children Baine and Jett), Miki (Legg) King (husband Sam, children Mazzy and Riddick). Bonus children Angie Fields (son Justin Bird-children Lucas, Bradley, Isaac), Chrystal Fields-Taylor (husband Chuck, children Andy, Sherri- children Coleton).
Lynn will be laid to rest by his loving wife Stephanie at Even Tide Cemetery Spencer, West Virginia. The family requests that in lieu of flowers that donations be given to a Hospice Center near you or his attending Church of Flatfork Baptist Clay, West Virginia.

Prayers for the family. I only met him a couple times but he told me a few deer storys and I could tell he was free spirit. Hold each other close prayers

Will miss Garys smile. Every time he came to clinic he had a big smile and was praising god.
