Harley Roy Rogers “Harl” age 79 passed away peacefully at his home on March 26, 2024, in Newton, WV.
He was born June 14, 1944, in Clay County West Virginia to Patrick and Tilda Rogers of Wallback, West Virginia. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia (Long) Rogers and 15 siblings.
He retired from Ford Motor Co. in Lorain, Ohio in the early 1990’s. He enjoyed spending time outside. He loved to weed eat and often took care of several grave sites.
Harley is survived by his daughters, Penny Rogers of Newton, West Virginia, Pamela Rogers of Cleveland, Ohio and Lisa Moore of Norwalk, Ohio; grandchildren, Christopher Lautzenheiser, Kayla Rogers, Kimberly Johnson, Kyle Rogers, Shannon Moore, Stevie Moore and Jalyn Roseborough; several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be 12:00 pm, Saturday April 6, 2024, at the Parker Cemetery, Newton, West Virginia, with Kevin Rogers officiating.
