Ruth Ann (Horrocks) Jones

Ruth Ann Jones loving mother, grandmother and friend went to her heavenly home on Saturday, January 15,2022 at the age of 82. Cherished by many, Ruth had an infectious smile that could light up any room.

She worked many years inside and outside of the home. Ruth retired from Ansted Center, Ansted, WV, where she served as a dietician.

Ruth is preceded in death by her loving husband of 31 years, Lewis W. Jones, 4 brothers, 2 grandsons, and her beloved Brother, Lee Horrocks joined her in heaven on January 19, 2022, one son-in-law, her precious dog Dixie.

She is survived by 6 children, Jimmy (Nancy) Jones of Jodie, Peggy Nichols of Jodie, Tammy (Randy) Miles of Jodie, Robert (Tammy) Jones Adonijah, Rita (James) Hanshaw of Twenty Mile and Anita (Rodney) Cecil of Dunbar. Sisters, Doris Brown of Jodie and Rose Stephens of Summersville. Brothers, Kenny (Patsy) Horrocks of Bentree. 17 Grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. The Family would like to extend a special thank you to her caregivers and sweet nurse Sonja.

Graveside Service will be on Monday at 1:00pm at Rich Creek, Clarence Thomas is Officiating.
