Mary Joanna Kincaid, 55, of Lizemores, WV passed away on April 20, 2008. She was surrounded by her family at home after a very courageous five year battle with cancer.

Mary was a 1971 graduate of Clay County High School and was a bus driver for The Clay County School System. She was very active in her community and helped implement The Lizemores Volunteer Fire Department, where she was the Deputy Assistant Chief, Secretary and First Responder. She was an avid gardener, animal and nature lover, enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing.

Mary was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was deeply loved by everyone she touched in life. She loved children and enjoyed life to the fullest. Mary was an inspiration to all who knew her and will continue to shine in our hearts forever.

Surviving are her husband of 38 years Dell Edward Kincaid, children Millie Brasseur and husband David, Beth Coleman and husband Bill, Dell Kincaid, II and wife Claudia. Grandchildren include Lauren and Bryce Coleman, sisters Madeline Neff, Betty Kirk, Shirley Small, Carolyn Conley and Ruby Moore, brothers, James, Paul and Rocky Wyant.

Mary was preceded in death by parents Albert and Wavie Wyant, daughter Lorrene Adell Kincaid, brothers Bob, Leonard and Bill Wyant.

A tribute to the life of Mary will be held 11:00 Thursday, April 24, 2008 at the Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home in Clay, WV., with Minister Wayne Litton officiating. Burial will follow in the Wyant Family Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday at the Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in honor of Mary to be made to The American Cancer Society-Hope Lodge, 2806 Reading Road, Cinn. OH 45206. Their professional and caring services were very much appreciated and were a comfort to Mary and her family during their stay.
