To Herb's Family,
What a wonderful, caring person he was to his family, and, to all of the people he served as their pastor and friend.  He left a loving legacy to all who knew him.  He is now at rest in the loving arms of His Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.  I was honored to have know him.
Loving thoughts and prayers,
Mary Kathryn

My deepest sympathy goes out to the entire family on the loss of your precious daddy and grandfather.  Herb was a sweet man who treated all of us as if we were his own.  He always had a smile on his face and I don't believe he ever met a stranger.   I can't imagine the loss you are feeling right now, but hope you can find some comfort in knowing he is with Jesus and your precious mommy.  Love and hugs to you all.

I am so sorry that you lost your Daddy.  However, I am sure that was one great reunion in Heaven when he met up with your Mommy again.  I loved and respected him.  I'm praying for you and your girls.  Love, Anita

We loved Herb Vance so much!  He considered himself The Harold Family's #1 fan - especially baby girl Sam.
The world has lost a great friend and brother in the Lord.  His works will follow him just as the Word says.  Our deepest sympathy to the family.

I remember Pastor Vance being a Pastor at Walnut Grove United Methodist Church. He did many funerals for my Aunts and Uncles. May God Bless each of you at this difficult time of your life.
