Alma Gaye (Backus) Stewart(Babe)

Alma Gaye Stewart (Babe), 68, of Richmond Va. passed away suddenly from a short illness on July 20, 2022.
Alma was born on April 26, 1954. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She worked for 26 years as a teacher at The Staples Mill Road Baptist Church.
   Alma is preceded by her husband Raymond, son Rodney, her sister Doris Fitzwater (Sis) and her mother and father, Fred, and Anna Mae (Walker) Backus.
    She is survived by her sons Raymond (wife Tina) of Virginia, Fred of Dixie and Charles (wife Patty) of Pennsylvania, two sisters Kathy Brown and Debbie Skyles, 8 grandchildren and 10
great grandchildren.

   Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at Wilson Smith Funeral home in Clay, West Virginia, with a one-hour visitation from 12:00 to 1:00 for friends and family.
   She will be laid to rest at The Stewart Family Cemetery in Fola. Preacher Justin Neal will Officiate.
