Austin Paul Koch

Austin Paul Koch, 82, of Bickmore, WV went to be with the Lord on February 21, 2024. Paul was born and raised in Blue Knob, WV. He lived and worked in Ohio for 22 years before moving back to WV. He found solace in woodworking and always was first to step forward and help others. He loved his kids and grandkids with all his heart and was very proud of every one of them. He was preceded in death by his parents, John F. and Ida (Bragg) Koch along with his ten siblings: Curtis, Selina, Ella, Tressie, Wilma, Albert, Ernest, Watson, Oscar, and Franklin D. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Verna (Daniels) Koch, and his children, Chris (Jella) Koch, Tim (Jennifer) Koch, Terry (Jobe) Gill, Cindy (Chuck) Burkhamer, and Joshawa Koch. Grandchildren, Eric and Jessica Lambey, Julianne, Athena, and Felicity Koch, Ethan and Rylee Burkhamer, Arcadia, Akeyva, and Ayla Koch. Great grandchildren Sophia and Elias Lambey. There is a huge hole in our lives without him here, but he is rejoicing in Heaven with no sickness nor burdens to bear.

 A private family graveside gathering will be held at Blue Knob Cemetery.
