Bonnie Carolyn Meador, born on July 25, 1942, went to be with the Lord on June 19, 2024, at the age of 81. A woman of immense kindness, Bonnie spent much of her life in Clay County, WV, and enjoyed her later years in Fairmont, WV. Known for her warm and generous spirit, Bonnie always saw the best in everyone she met and believed in the inherent goodness of people.
Bonnie was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who saw the beauty in everything around her. Her life was a testament to her love for her family. As a devoted mother, she dedicated herself to raising her seven children, finding joy in creating a warm and welcoming home. A talented cook, Bonnie was famous for her Sunday dinners, where her family gathered to enjoy her fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, homemade biscuits, and blackberry cobbler. These meals were more than just food; they were a celebration of family and love.
Bonnie had a deep appreciation for nature and found peace in the quiet moments spent observing the beauty of her surroundings. She loved to plant flowers and tended to a large garden, which brought her joy. Embracing adventure from time to time, Bonnie enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping, activities that allowed her to connect with the world around her in meaningful ways.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Beauleh Grose; siblings, Roland Grose, Arlie Grose, Danny Grose, Raymond Grose, and Teddy Grose; and the father of her children, to whom she was married for 26 years, Billy Beasley.
