Carl L. Wilson II

Carl Lowe Wilson, Il age 73 of Shallotte died Thursday June 11, 2026 at SECU Hospice House of Brunswick.
Mr. Wilson was born in Charleston, West Virginia on December 22, 1952 and was the son of the late Carl Wilson, Sr. and Lois Sutton Wilson. He was a graduate of Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia and received his degree in Funeral Service at Cincinnati School of Mortuary Science. He owned and operated Carl Wilson Funeral Home in Clay, West Virginia.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Patricia Cunningham Wilson; two children, Benjamin B. Wilson of Shallotte and Dr. Andrea Herndon and husband Craig of Richmond, Virginia; three sisters, Kay Volkert of Florida, Joyce Ferrebee of Louisiana and Janet Workman of West Virginia.
A Celebration of Life Service with the family will be held at a later date.
