Carolyn Sue Burkhamer

Carolyn Sue Burkhamer of Duck passed away at home after a short illness with her loving husband by her side.

Born on July 8, 1950, in Gassaway, WV to the late Woodrow and Lula (Tanner) Cutlip. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, infant Jeremy Burkhamer and Chuck Burkhamer; sister, Dottie Ryder.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 58 years, Charles Burkhamer; sons, Scott (Angie) Burkhamer of Lizemore, David Burkhamer (Angie) of Procious and daughter Keri  (Aaron) Priest of Tornado; sisters, Debbie Epling of Spencer, Tammy Ross of Chesapeake, Rosemary Grose of Duck; brother, Woodrow Cutlip, Jr. of Duck; 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Charlie was the love of her life. She adored each and everyone of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will always be cherished and loved by many.

Honored Sue’s final request, there will be no services.
