Charla Renee (Nine) Jones

Fed up with the pot holes, she decided it was time to walk the streets of gold. Charla R. Jones, 57, of Culloden, WV went home to be with the Lord on Oct. 19, 2022 surrounded by family and friends. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She was welcomed to heaven by grandparents Sybil and Paul Parsons, grandparents Ivan and Nellie Dennis, father William (Bill) Dennis Sr., father David (Buddy) Nine, brother John S. Nine, and her beloved dog Barney. She is survived by her mother Phyllis Dennis of Clay, WV, sister Robin (Delmer Jr.) Shamblin of Saint Albans, WV, Brother William (Missy) Dennis Jr. of Procious, WV, brother Kevin (Ronda) Dennis of Clay, WV, sister Sara (Jerry Jr.) Childers of Procious, WV, son Wesley (Tabitha) Adkins of Queen Shoals, WV, daughter Amber (Lonnie) Higginbotham of Saint Albans, WV, son Patrick Adkins of Clendenin, WV, grandchildren Desiree, Rilei (Darren), Andrew, Chelsea, Alania, Paiten, Conner, Cheyenne, Aiden, and Levi, great grandchildren Caroline and Caine and her companion and best friend James Jones along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. Services will be held on Tuesday Oct. 25, 2022 at Maysel Missionary Baptist Church in Maysel, WV at 11:00am. Service at 12:00pm with Burial to follow at The Dobbins Cemetery in Procious, WV. We will gather back at the church afterwards for fellowship dinner. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wilson Shamblin Smith funeral home.
