Charles Edward McClung

Charles Edward McClung, 57, of Jodie, Wv, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, 2021 in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, Wv, after a short illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles McClung Sr., and Kay Krise McClung.  He is survived by his beloved wife, Allison Backus McClung, son Justin, Daughters Ashley and Hannah, Aunt Charlotte Krist (Hooty), Aunt Carla Horrocks, and his brother, Clayton Krise (Joy), all of Jodie, WV.
He also has extended family who will miss him very much. These include sisters-in-law Beverly Roop, Nancy Jones (Jimmy), both of Jodie, brothers-in-law, Herb Backus (Beth) of Belva, Eddie Backus of Lionsville, WV, Scott Backus  (Heather) of Jodie and many nephews and nieces.  
A grave side service will be held at Rich Creek Cemetery in Jodie on Monday, Oct. 4, 2021, at 11:00 am, Rev. Clarene Thomas will be officiating.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.carlwilsonfuneralhome.com .  Pennington Smith is honored to be serving the McClung family.
