Charles Morris of Clay, WV passed away peacefully in his home on October 24, 2022.
He was born October 12, 1956 to the late
Charles Lindburg Morris and Janice Metz Morris.
Better known as Bub or Chuck, he worked for many years as a truck driver. He later became a mechanic working for Butler County Ford and Bluebird Bus in Pennsylvania.
He will be remembered for his goofy sense of humor, his imaginary pet chickens and his ability to make a friend everywhere he went.
To sum up his sense of humor, he always told everyone that his final request was to be buried upside down so the whole world could kiss his ass.
He is survived by his daughter Chelsey (Jacob) Barto and 3 grandchildren Drake, Blake and Chase of Butler, PA; a son Chad Morris of Atlanta, GA: 2 brothers Roger (Brenda) Morris of Clay, WV and Ronnie (Mary) Morris of Duck, WV; 2 sisters Brenda (Tony) Duncan of Bartlett, Ohio and Susan Fields of Ivydale, WV.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his infant twin sister Shirl Lynn Morris as well as 1 other infant sibling, and his furry best friend, Buddy.
There will be a private graveside service at the McGlothlin Cemetery Rush Fork Road,
Ivydale, WV at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Wilson Smith Funeral Home, Clay, WV.
