Charles “Charlie” A. Truman Jr., 53, of Maysel, passed away on April 12, 2026.
He was born on June 24, 1972, in Cleveland, Ohio, to MaryAnna F. Pilon and Charles A. Truman Sr.
Charlie will be remembered for the moments he shared with those in his life, and for the role he played as a father, family member, and friend. Though life took many turns, those who knew him carry memories that will not be forgotten.
He is survived by his daughters, Gwen Leonard and Nicole Truman; his son, Chris Truman; his brother, Larry (Tracy); his sister, Crystal. He is also survived by Renae, along with her children, Cierra, Tristan, and Madison; as well as other extended family members and loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles “Chuck” Truman; his grandmother, Vernile Truman; and his grandfather, Crawford Truman.
The family would like to thank those who have offered support and kindness during this time.
A memorial service will be held at Little Laurel Missionary Baptist Church on May 9th at noon.
