Danny Eugene McCune

Danny Eugene McCune, 71, of Lizemores, WV, passed away on November 17, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Danny was born on January 5, 1954, in Xenia, Ohio. He was the son of the late William “Henry” and Virginia (Estep) McCune.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers Charlie (Lou) McCune, Ray McCune, Gary (Teresa) McCune, and his sister Ruth Stump.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Nancy McCune; daughters Manda Humphrey and Katie (Alan) McCune-Moore; grandchildren Kaylie (Austin) Quinn, Brennen (Kayli) Humphrey, and Valerie Moore; great-grandchildren Parker and Reagan Quinn; his sister Julie Riley; a host of nieces and nephews; and countless friends who loved and cared for Danny deeply.

The family would also like to give a special thanks to Michelle McKinney and everyone at the Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston, WV, for their exceptional care and compassion.

There will be no services at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
