Darrell Lee Ramsey

Darrell Lee Ramsey, 69, of Adonijah, WV went to rest among the angels in the late night of April 1st, 2025.

Darrell was born and raised in Bickmore, WV by his late parents Harold Ramsey and Bernice Ramsey (née Keith). He was extremely dedicated to his family and worked and strived to provide for all he could.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Sandra Ramsey (née Williams). They are survived by two living children, John and Sarah Ramsey. They are preceded in death by their daughter, Robin Ramsey. Darrell is also survived by his eldest son, Scott Cummings.

Darrell is survived by his six grandchildren who were the lights of his life: Autumn Stone, Jaxson Ramsey, Kassidy Williams, Kaeleigh Ramsey, Makenzie Ramsey, and Jessica Ramsey.

Darrell is survived by seven of his eight siblings: Frances (Roy) Pritt, Linda Siniard, Edna (Mike) Moore, David (Trina) Ramsey, Bonnie (Scot) Mitchell, Harold (Lisa) Ramsey, and Arthur Ramsey. He is preceded in death by his sister Sally (Chilton) Holcomb.

We will all miss him dearly and we feel his loss deeply. We know he is resting peacefully now with his loving wife and without pain. We thank you all for your well wishes and prayers.

Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, April 11, 2025, at Sunset Cemetery, Leatherwood Road, Bickmore, WV.
