Dennis Martin Cunningham, Jr.

Dennis Martin Cunningham Jr., 88, of Ivydale, passed away on September 12, 2025, after a short illness.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Naomi (Templeton) Cunningham; Mother Tressie (Dean) Cunningham; father, Dennis Cunningham Sr; brother, Roy Cunningham; infant son, Cunningham.

He is survived by daughter, Theresa Donze; brothers, Jerry and Bruce Cunningham of Ivydale; Grandsons, Joshua Asbury and Ryan Donze, both of Akron, Ohio; great grandchildren, Peyton Asbury, Layla and Levi Donze; many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.  Special thanks from the family to Keith and Melissa Cunningham, for seeing after Dennis.

Dennis retired from Babcock & Wilcox with 38 years’ service.  He also enjoyed hunting and his antique cars.

Graveside Service will be held for friends and family at Duffield Cemetery, at 2:00 on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, with minister Gary Drake.
