Dianna Lynn Bowles, 68, of Wooster, Ohio went home with Jesus on Monday evening, March 6, 2023, at LifeCare Hospice, surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 6, 1954, to Alonzo and Maggie (Linkinogger) Smith in Clay County, WV.
She grew up attending Valley Ridge Church and graduated from Clay County High School in 1972.
She loved being outdoors, spending time with her family, playing the piano, thrift shopping, doing puzzles and taking road trips. She is survived by her daughters, Danielle (Drew) Scott of Rittman and Desiree Bowles of Wooster, her 2 grandchildren that she loved so much, Kaylynn and Christopher Scott, her sister Saundra Klein of Burbank, brothers Wayne (Connie) Smith and Gary (Faye) Smith, nephews Basil (Terri) Smith, Gary Smith Jr, and Justin Smith, all of West Virginia, and niece Pam Klein of Wadsworth, great nieces and nephews, Ian Smith, Zoey (Jacob) Adkins, Maggie Smith, all of West Virginia, Ashlee (James) Cogley of Wooster, and Michael Wayne of Wadsworth.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, and her sister Betty Ann Smith.
Services will be held at Wilson-Smith Funeral Home in Clay, WV on March 11, 2023, at 1:00 pm with Minister Wayne Smith officiating, friends and family may visit one hour prior from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, Burial will take place at Little Laurel Church Cemetery in Maysel, WV.
The family would like to thank Charleston Area Medical Center Oncology, Cleveland Clinic Wooster Oncology and Lifecare Hospice for their phenomenal care.
