Dorothy (Moore) Facemyers

Dorothy Facemyers, 76 of Indore WV, went home to be with the Lord on September 4, 2022, after a long battle with cancer.

She was born June 5, 1946, to James and Georgie Moore. She was an avid seamstress and worked as a contract mail carrier for many years where she could always be found with a big smile and a friendly word.

She is survived by her two daughters: Preston and Margaret (Maggie) Ramsey of Bickmore and David and Mary Boggs of Indore; six grandkids: Logan, Danialle, Landon, Emily, Sarah, and Erica; five great grandkids; many nieces and nephews; and countless friends. She was preceded in death by both of her parents, her husband Melvin, six sisters, and four brothers.

A memorial service will be held for friends and family at the Sycamore Community Baptist Church on Sunday, September 18, 2022, at 1:00 pm.
