Elroy Chuck Stewart

Elroy (Chuck)Stewart was called home to be with the Lord on June 21, 2025, at United Hospital Center. He was born March 9, 1962, to Raymond and Minnie (McCune) Stewart.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant brothers Rodney and Theodore Stewart, his sisters, Pam Holcomb and Brenda Stewart.

Chuck loved hunting and fishing but most of all his family and friends. He was a very kind, caring generous person that would help anyone. He always put the needs of everyone else before his own.

Left to cherish his memory are his 2 sons Charles Stewart (Grace), Michael Stewart (Sierra) and their Mother Linda Hanshaw. His granddaughter Evie Stewart that he adored, and his special great niece Boo who helped so much with his care. Brothers Raymond Stewart (Regina), Virgil Stewart, Donald Stewart, Steve Stewart and sisters Polly Samples (Donald) Peggy Hanshaw (Sonny), Allie Stewart, Lisa Fore, Shelia Stewart, Billie Henderson (Clay) and Trina Morris and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the health care team at UHC and a special thanks to Clay Health Care Center for the loving care they provided.

Graveside service will be held on Friday June 27, 2025, at 11:00 am at Sunset Cemetery, Leatherwood Road, Bickmore, WV.
