Elva Gay (Craddock) Hudson

Elva Gay “Craddock” Hudson 75 of Wallback WV entered into rest on January 10, 2022. A beloved mother and grandmother. She loved her garden, feeding hummingbirds, being outside.

Daughter of Ferd Denzel Craddock, Pairley Ellen (Roger) Craddock. She was born February 12, 1946, in Marion, West Virginia.

She worked at IAC in Holmesville, Oh. For over 25 years as a sewing technician, before she retired in 2016, moved to her home in her beloved West Virginia.

She leaves to cherish her memory her son Larry Lane Hudson II of Collins, OH. Clinton Wayne Hudson of Wooster, Ohio. She leaves 4 grandchildren, Joshua Lane Hudson of Brunswick, Ohio, Matthew Edward Hudson of Milan, Ohio, Tori Hudson of Apple Creek, Ohio, Rayeanne Elizabeth Clark of Shreve, Ohio. She has 8 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death Brothers: Bill Craddock, Ferd Craddock of West Virginia, Evelyn Craddock of Newton West Virginia, Her parents Fred and Pairley Craddock.

Surviving is sister Mary Jane Forrer of Spencer WV, Barbara Starcher of Georgia, Joe Craddock of Bidwell, Ohio, Leo Butch Gray of Wallback WV.

Funeral Service for Elva will be on Friday January 21, 2022, at 2:00 pm, a viewing for the family and friends will be from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Wilson Smith Funeral Home in Clay, WV, with Minister Dean Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in the Hively Cemetery at Valley Fork WV.
