Forrest G. Drake

Forrest Gail Drake, 80 of Clay, WV enter into rest on November 15, 2023.

He was born on November 21, 1942, in Calhoun County to the late Otha and Maysel Drake.

Forrest is survived by his wife of 28 years, Lillian Drake; daughters, Connie (Tom) Stuckey, Terrie Drake and Reginia (Daniel) Ferrebee; sons, Michael Drake, Greg Drake; 2 step sons, Stephen and David Drake of Spencer, WV; grandchildren, Zach Stuckey, Dea (Travis) Staggs, Marenna, Shannon(Josh Mack), Brittany(Nick) Rice, Daniel Junior Ferrebee, Chole, Chander, Cameron and Jessica Drake, Cody Nichols, Dalenna (Josh) Neff, Dakota Drake and Michele Moore; niece, Reginia Eckmeyer; sister, Crickette Wiley and Brother-in-law, Donald Traxler; 5 great great grandchildren.

He retired from Clay County High School in 2010 as a Custodian. He loved fishing, hunting and mastered trout angler. His favorite rivers were South Fork and Williams River. He loved all his grandchildren.

He will be greatly miss and loved by all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
