Born on December 6, 1955, to the late Earl and Coretta Criss.

George is survived by his wife, Kim (Rhodes) Brown; daughters, Besty (Bryon) Anderson, Anatlia (George) Williams; son, Timothy Rhodes; grandchild, Kassidy (Grant) Cavender; great grandchild, Cooper Cavender; special nieces and nephews, Kacey Collins, Savannah Rhodes, Ashia (Dylan) Belt; sisters, Letha (Leonard) Knight, Molly (Mel) Davis; brothers, Billy, Jr. and Bruce Brown. Aunts and Uncles, Virgil (Jack), Erma Brown, Marcella and Charles Knight.

Service will be held at 12:00pm on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, with a viewing for family and friends from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Wilson Smith Funeral Home, Clay, WV, with Minister Jason Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Rhodes cemetery, Maysel, WV.
