Glenna Carol Thomas-Chapman

Glenna Carol Thomas Chapman went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 29th, 2025. She was born on February 22nd, 1933, to Alitus Jones and Consetrella Jones Lauders.

She is a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Wallback, WV.

She was preceded in death by her husband Leo B. Thomas Sr. and Leo H. Chapman. Her granddaughter Jody Thomas, grandson Michael Thomas Jr. and great grandson Sawyer Grose.

Those left to cherish her memories are her seven children, daughters Linda Kidd, Connie Smith (Wayne), and sons Leo B. Thomas Jr. (Danette), Steve Thomas (Karen), Craig Thomas (Kim), Michael Thomas Sr. (Veronica), and David Thomas (Wendy). She had many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great - great grandchildren, as well as her sisters Phyllis Lipscomb and Rose Martin.

The family finds comfort in her unwavering faith in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Her visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1st at Wilson Smith Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with her funeral service at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Wayne Smith, Pastor Matt Shamblin and Minister Basil W. Smith Jr. officiating, burial will follow at the Thomas Family Cemetery.
