Ines Emogine (West) Rogers

Ines Emogine Rogers, 84 of Wallback, WV left this earthly world on October 7, 2022, to go to be with the Lord.

Ines was born August 27, 1938, she was preceded in death by her husband William “Andy” Rogers, her parents, Walter Evert West, and Lucy Maude (Beckett) West and her brothers and sister.

Ines was a devoted Christian and a member of White Pilgrim Church in Wallback, WV for over 60 years.

Ines was employed with the Clay County Bank and Retired after 35 years of service.

Ines is survived by her children, Delford (Kathleen) West of Wallback, Wayne (Terri Pierson) Rogers of Clay, WV, Homer “Bub” (Theresa Browhill) of Melbourne, FL, Deborah “Debbie” Rogers of Little River, SC and Dean (Annette) Rogers of Wallback, WV.  She has 17 grandchildren and many great grandchildren which all were very dear to her heart. Sister, Dorothy (Henry) Wilmoth of Laurelville, OH, Sister -In-Law Carolyn West of Azle, TX and many nephews and nieces.

Funeral Service for Ines will be held on Sunday, October 9, 2022, at Wilson Smith Funeral Home, Clay, WV at 2:00 PM, with Minster Stewart Cottrell officiating. With a one-hour visitation for friends and family from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Burial will follow in the Moore Cemetery at Wallback, WV.
