Ivan James Arbogast, age 84, of Middletown, Ohio passed away on Thursday, August 1st, 2024, at Kettering Memorial Hospital, Kettering, Ohio. Ivan was born and bred in West Virginia and no matter where he resided or roamed, always considered West Virginia his home.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Edna Arbogast (nee Jeffers), his father, Roscoe W. Arbogast, and his brother, Bobby Kenton Arbogast (aka Bobby K!).
He is survived by his daughter, Theresa, his son, Randy, former spouse, Mattie, granddaughters Nicole (Levi Ballard) and Jayna (Matt Miller), grandsons Ben Kiser and Taylor Arbogast and a soon-to-be great-granddaughter, Maddie Ballard. Also survived by his sister, Peg Kidd (Jim) of Alum Creek, and his brothers, Paul Arbogast (Donna) of South Charleston, Roscoe Arbogast of Waldo, Florida, sister-in-law Janet Culotta of Dallas, Texas, brother-in-law Buddy (Peggy) Parker of Yorktown, Virginia, and girlfriend, June Bosworth of Centerville, Ohio and many nieces, nephews, friends and colleagues.
Visitation will be on Monday, August 5th, 2024, from 12 noon-1p at the Arbogast Family Chapel with funeral services to follow at 1p. Burial will be held afterwards at the Arbogast Family Cemetery on Beechy Ridge.
