Jackie L. Parsons, 74, Wallback, WV.
Wednesday, April 26, Our Lord called Jackie home. He was born August 31, 1948, in Newton, WV to Senate and Wanda (Carr) Parsons. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Senate Jr. and his sisters Ruby and Brenda.
Jackie worked at Union Carbide for 35 years. He was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church at Wallback for 53 years.
He is survived by his wife Peggy Parsons of Wallback; daughter, Kelly Taylor of Morrow, Oh; son, Shon Parsons of Wallback; grandchildren Maggie and Will Taylor and Emma Beatty of Ohio; brother, Michael (Julie) Parsons of North Carolina; Sisters, Deloris Wright of Oklahoma, Chloe Drake of Ohio, Judy Greathouse of Spencer, Karen McCune of Maryland; brother and sister-in-law Jerry and Kathi Linkinoggor of Precious, WV. Also, many special nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Saturday April 29, 2023, with a viewing for family and friends from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm, at Wilson Smith Funeral Home, Clay, WV with Minister Wayne Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Laurel Point Cemetery, Newton, WV.
