James Eddie Neal, SR.

James Eddie Neal Sr, 63, of Clay, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on March 20, 2022, at Montgomery General Elderly Care.

Born on September 21, 1958, in Clay, he was the son of the late Roscoe D. Neal and Clara D (Drennen) Neal. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Andrew Neal and a grandson, Jaxton Adam Neal.

James is survived by his wife, Maryann Neal of Clay; three daughters, Christina Lynn Nichols of Boomer, WV, Felicia Marie Nottingham of Gauley Bridge, WV and Krystal Marie Neal of Orleans County; Five sons, Bobby Edward Nichols of St. Mary’s, Steven Russall Potter Sr., James E. Neal Jr., Journey E. Neal and Harrison R. Neal; two sisters, Linda Dellas of Ontario and Loretta Lynn Neal of Rochester, NY ; six brothers, Roscoe D. Neal of Indore, Scottie C. Neal of Indore, Don Neal of Brockport, NY., Teddy Neal of Lizemores, Robert Neal of Brockport, NY and Rex Neal of Indore.; 17 grandchildren; Logan Pauley, Levy Hughes, Braxton Hughes, Hailey Nottingham, Kadien Davis, Terry Davis, Alexis Davis, Leeland Davis, Faith Madison Neal, Steven Russall Potter Jr., Gracie Ann Faith Potter, Edward Deems, Austin Deems, Jeremiah Deems, Zayden Hurley, James Edward Neal III and Maggie Jean Nichols.

The funeral service will be 1 pm Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Wilson Smith Funeral Home Clay, WV.  Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
