Jamie Franklin Smith

James “Jamie” Franklin Smith, age 54, of Ivydale, WV passed away on April 18, 2022, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.  He was preceded in death by his father, Henery “Bud” Smith, sister Debra Smith Thorton and niece Molly Francis Smith.

He is survived by his mother Joyce Hickman Smith of South Charleston, two sons, Justin Scott Smith of Clyo, GA and Derek Lee Smith of Blue Knob, WV, 3 grandsons, Wesley, Walker, and Wilder Smith, 3 brothers, Tommy Smith of Dunbar, WV, Robin (Pam) Smith and Jerry Lee Smith of Ivydale, WV and sister Sharon (Roger) Collins of Auxier, KY and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A private family service to celebrate Jamie’s life will be set at a later date.
