Jeffrey David Nestor

Jeffrey David Nestor passed away peacefully on Thursday August 25, 2022, after a brief stay in CAMC Inpatient Hospice Care with his family by his side.

 Born on July 15, 1963, he was the son of the late Terrance and Devetta Nestor of Parsons, WV.

Jeff was previously employed by Clay County Schools. He joined Clay County High School in 1985 as a Band Director and continued working for 31 years until he retired. Jeff loved working with the kids and formed a special bond with each one of them.

Jeff is survived by his wife of 18 years, Lisa; two sons, Terrin (Rebecca) Nestor of Hillsborough, NC. and Chase Nestor of Clendenin, WV; daughter, Brooke Greathouse of South Charleston, WV; one Grandson, Matthew Nestor of Parkersburg; Sister, Christie (Stephen) Cooke of Burkeville, Ky; a niece Stephanie (Burns) and a nephew, Brian of Ky.

Jeff will be greatly miss by all who knew him.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 24,2022 at Clay County High School from 2 pm to 5 pm.
