Jewel Jeanetta Tanner, 67, of Bickmore, passed away on May 4, 2024, following an extended illness.
She grew up in Leatherwood with a big, loving family before meeting her beloved husband, Jerry. She raised her two daughters, Tisha and Misty, in Bickmore, where she was a dedicated and loving homemaker.
Her legacy of love extended to her beloved grandchildren, whom she adored beyond measure.
With arms open wide and a heart full of adoration, she supported her family through the good and bad times while spoiling them all rotten.
Jewel spent many wonderful days enjoying her beautiful flowers and scratching lottery tickets before meeting God and reuniting with her daughter in Heaven.
Her infectious laughter and radiant spirit illuminated the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry, daughter Tisha, grandchildren Sierra, Ethan, Alayna, and Oliver, and great-grandchildren Gavin and Amelia.
She is also survived by her sisters Peggy, Bonnie, Judy, Patty, and Effie, and brothers Mark, Ronald, Bus, and Pete.
She is preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Misty, and sisters Betty Lou and Hazel.
