We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Spc. Jordan Neal. Born June 26,2003 left us on August 18,2024, while serving at Fort Cavazos,TX. Jordan was just 21 years old but had already demonstrated an unwavering commitment to his country, having joined the service just two months after his 17th birthday.
Jordan was a beloved son, brother, husband, a loyal friend and a very proud soldier. In his off time he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved to tattoo, play the guitar, float on the river, dance with his wife, naynay, and mother, and listen to music by the fire as he cooked. He also loved play fighting with his brother. His love for his friends, family, and country shone brightly in everything that he did.
Though we mourn the loss of such a young and vibrant life, we also celebrate the spirit and patriotism Jordan embodied. His dedication to his duties and his love he had for his homeland reminds us all of the sacrifice and courage our servicemen and women commit to every day. As we come together to remember Jordan, we find comfort in knowing that he lived his life with passion, purpose and love.
He will be deeply missed by family, friends and anyone who ever crossed his path in life.
A visitation for friends and family to celebrate Jordans life will be held on Thursday, Aug. 29,2024 at 5:00 P.M. at Wilson Smith Funeral Home, Clay, WV 25043.
Wilson Smith is honored to be serving the Neal family.
