Kevin Dale Cottrill

Kevin Dale Cottrill 50 of Indore, WV passed away December 13, 2025, after a brief illness. Kevin was born, January 23, 1975, to Roger and Drucella Cottrill. Kevin was employed by WVa Manufacturing Alloy for the last 19 years.

Kevin was an avid outdoors man. He loved to hunt and fish with his sons. During the Spring and Summer, they loved to hit the lakes and rivers. Oh, the fishing stories they could tell. When his sons were in school you could always find Kevin standing by the field cheering for his sons.

Kevin is proceeded into death by his mother Drucella Cottrill, grandparents Basil & Mabel DeBoard, Granville & Madeline Cottrill, aunt Shonette Shaffer, Uncles Johnny and Pal Cottrill.

Kevin is survived by his father Roger Cottrill, his sons Kalep Cottrill and Charlie Cottrill who were his whole world, sister Terrina (Dana) Truman, niece Breanna (Kody) Ealy, nephew Hunter Siers, great nephews Kody Jr & Maddox Ealy, great niece Maddalynn Ealy, aunts Connie Lay, Vanessa Hedrick, Vonda Samples, June Osborn & Ave Maynor, uncles Lynn DeBoard, Larry Cottrell and Rick Cottrell, along with a host of cousins and friends and the mother of his sons Missy Friend.

Kevin’s wishes were to be cremated. There will be a viewing Friday December 19, 2025, at Wilson Smith Funeral Home Clay WV from 6:00 to 7:30 with Funeral Service starting at 7:30 with pastor Willie Neal officiating.
