Lauretta Blankenship Obituary
Lauretta Osborne Blankenship, 66, of Paintersville, OH, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2009, at home surrounded by her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mack and Becky Osborne; sister, Meryle Rodgers of Tampa, FL; brothers, Bud Osborne of Tampa, FL, Doy Osborne of Wellston, OH, and Hollis Osborne of Clay, WV.
Lauretta is survived by her husband, Terry Blankenship of Paintersville, OH; sons, William Gerald (Junior) Stewart and wife, Angie, of Bellbrook, OH, and Terry Evan Blankenship and friend, Beth, of Crested Butte, Colorado; special niece and caregiver, Shirley Porter of Paintersville, OH, and special nephew, John Rose of Tampa; grandchildren, Tyler, Trey, Savannah, and Sierra Stewart, and three great-grandchildren, Sawyer, Tanner, and Saige Stewart, all of Bellbrook; brother, John Osborne of Tampa; sisters, Anna Faye (Kackie) Rose of Tampa, FL, Eva Lee Williams (Tommy) of Tampa, Starling (George) Birchfield of Charleston, and Pearl (Tea) Paxton of Wallback; special friend and coupon buddy, Barb Butler.
A special thanks to Dr. Robert Barker and staff at Acute Care Consultants for all the loving care over the years.
A private viewing and service will be held at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay, on Sunday, May 10, 2009. Burial will be in the Blankenship-Osborne Cemetery at Valley Fork, WV.
