Loretta (Neal) Beckett, 55, of Maysel, gained her wings on May 2, 2022, after a long battle with liver failure.
Born on August 16,1966, in Montgomery, she was the daughter of the late Roscoe D and Clara D (Drennen) Neal. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert E. Beckett; two brothers, Carl A. Neal and James E. Neal.
Loretta is survived by son, Roy (Hope) Edkin; daughter, Lucrieta (Stanley) Truman; 11 grandchildren, Destiney, Autumn, Christina, Mya, Breanna, Shelby, Damian, Divine, Clara, Korrina and Stanley III; 1 great grandson, Xavier; sister, Linda (James) Delles; 6 brothers, Roscoe Neal, Scottie (Junie) Neal, Teddy (Josie) Neal, Don (Kathy) Neal, Rex (Tammy) Neal and Robert Neal.
She was an amazing mother, grandmother and she never let you leave her house hungry or without a hug with an “I love you”. Loretta will be greatly missed and loved by family and all who knew her.
The visitation service will be from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Monday, May 9, 2022, at Wilson Smith Funeral Home, Clay WV. Per Loretta wishes, she will be cremated and returned to her father and mother at a later date.
