Mandy Jean Sams

Mandy Sams of Newton, WV passed away unexpectedly at her home on 9/8/23.

She was born on 02/10/1982 to Betty Dennis and Jerry (JC) Sams. She was a free spirit with a kind soul and did what she wanted. She was a proud WVU fan. She would help anyone if she could. Her boys were her whole world. They are the ones she lived for.

She is preceded in death by her mother Betty Dennis, father Jerry (JC) Sams, stepfather Eugene Dennis, stepmother Debra Sams, Grandmother Magdoline Sams, Grandpa Marshall Sams, and Grandpa Junior Collins.

She is survived by her 2 sons Austin Arthur of Elkton, Maryland, Noah Turley of Newton, WV; husband Richard Turley of Newton, WV; sisters Safronia Addison of Marmet, WV, Marsha (James) Cain Myrtle Beach, SC, and Cassie (Anthony)Gill of Wallback, WV; nephews, Drew Brothers of Charleston WV, Mikey Gill of Wallback, WV; nieces April Lesher of Columbus, OH, Caitlyn Shimer of Barberton, OH, Hailea Daugherty of Barberton, OH, Leighvi Cummings of Wallback, WV, Rosalee, and Baylee Daugherty both of Myrtle Beach, SC, Abrianna Addison of Marmet, WV, Kaylee Gill of Wallback, WV. One great nephew Malcolm Shimer of Barberton, OH. She is also survived by her mother-in-law Debbie Buzzard, and father-in-law Charles Buzzard, many other close families, and friends.

Per Mandy’s wishes, she was cremated, and the family will have a private memorial service later for immediate family only.
