Margarette ( Leatrice) Ann Nichols

Margarette (Leatrice) Ann Nichols, 95 of Lizemores, WV entered into rest on June 4, 2023.

Born on October 8, 1927, in Lochgelly, WV, she was the daughter of the late William and Donna Stone. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Elmo Nichols and son, Kenneth Lee Nichols.

Margarette is survived by son, Eddie Elmo (Donna) Nichols of Kansas, David Brent Nichols of Lizemores, WV and Geoffrey Harris (Denise) Nichols of Lizemores, WV and daughter-in-law, Bobbie, of Florida; 2 sisters, 2 brothers; 10 grandchildren, 26 greatgrandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. She loved and enjoyed her family and her church family.

Margarette was raised in Lizemores, WV and later married Elmo Nichols on July 10, 1947, married for 56 years. They raised four boys. They owned and operated Nichols Department Store for many years. They loved and enjoyed their customers.

Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Saturday, June 10, 2023, at Lizemores Church of the Nazarene, with Pastor Robert Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Nichols Family Cemetery, Lizemores, WV. Friends may call one hour prior to the service from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
