Maysel Gay (Rogers) Workman 84 of Clay went home to be with her Heavenly Father on January 22, 2022. Maysel is the daughter of the late Judge and Glenna (White) Rogers. Maysel is preceded in death by her grand daughter Amber Workman and 5 siblings.
Maysel is survived by her four daughters, Robin (David) Belt, Katrina (Bill) Saul, Anita Workman, Veronica Workman also survived by 5 grandchildren and 11 great- grandchildren, 4 great-great- grandchildren.
Growing up mom came from a large family of 8 brothers and sisters of which 3 are still with us, Carl, Earnest, and Garry Rogers.
The family would like to thank the Clay Health Care Center staff for their wonderful care of our mother and a special thanks to Shelia Stewart for “Always” being there for our mom.
Funeral Services for Maysel will be held on January 28, 2022, at 11:00 at Wilson Smith Funeral Home, Clay, WV, a visitation for friends and family will be held on January 27 at Wilson Smith Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00, burial will be at Ramsey Cemetery, with minister Wayne Litton officiating.
