Myrtle Jane Scott

Myrtle Jane Scott, 78 of Clay, passed from this life August 24 after a short illness.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Earl C. Scott and infant daughter, Camalita Jane, her parents Press McGlothlin and Esther Triplett McGlothlin, Leonard “Buddy” McGlothlin, Helen McGlothlin Hunt, and Early Jack McGlothlin.

She is survived by her caregiver and niece, Melissa Justice, sister-in-law Evelyn McGlothlin, sisters Phyllis Nicholas Gail and Charles Brady of Clay and Sue Rasdon of Hoxie, AR; brothers, Clyde McGlothlin and Janet, Eddie McGlothlin and Janet, numerous nieces and nephews and her beloved dogs and cat.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday August 30, 2024, at the Sirk Cemetery, Duck, WV.
