Nila Bird

Nila Geraldene Bird, 69, of Ivydale, entered into rest on January 19, 2021.  Born on December 14, 1951 to Kenny Holcomb and Eleanor (Morris) Holcomb, she was a retired nurse and member of Bethel Baptist Church, Adonijah, WV.  In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Bird; son Wayne Shuler; brothers, Kenneth and Keith Holcomb, and sister Sharlene Evans.  She is survived by her loving mother, son Jeremy Bird, daughter Lisa Ramsey, step-son Eric Bird, step-daughter Melissa O’Dell, brother Jimmy Holcomb (Freda), 3 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and her dear friend, Joyce.   
Graveside service will be Friday, January 22, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Clay Memorial Gardens with Minister Earl Elliott officiating.  Online condolences maybe sent to
