Randy Lee Runion

Randy Lee Runion, 54, of Maysel WV passed away on Sunday March 27, 2022, surrounded by family.

He was known to all as a friendly and funny person, and he enjoyed the adventure of the outdoors.

Randy is survived by his mother; Mary Jane Runion, Clay, WV, daughter; Emily Shea Runion, Roane, WV, sisters, and brothers-in-law; Kathleen and James English, Molly and Rick Mullins, Rita and Wally Mullins and Jennifer and Bruce Fugett; nieces and nephews; Jessica McKinney, Kristie English, Steven and Ashley Mullins, Justin and Derek Smith, Zachary, and Isaac Fugett.

He was predeceased in death by his father, Bobby Lee Runion; his nephew, James William English III (JW); his grandparents, Robert and Blondie Runion and Gustava Deems.

We would like to thank all our family, friends, hospice, and medical staff at the Clay Health Care Center in Big Otter, for all the kindness and support shown to us during this difficult time.

The funeral service will be 12:00 pm Thursday, March 31, 2022, at Wilson Smith Funeral Home Clay, WV, with Minister Wayne Litton officiating. Burial will follow in the Runion Cemetery in Maysel on Blue Knob Rd. Friends may call on Thursday, March 31, 2022, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the funeral home.
