Richard Allen Grose

Richard Allen Grose "Dick" (55) of Duck, WV entered into rest February 13, 2025.

Richard was a kind, love-hearted person. His life was centered around his kids and grandkids. He lived to be the best Papaw in the world. Richard was born to the late Roland and Ruby Gose.

In addition to his parents Richard was proceeded in death by his wife Angela Grose. Richard leaves behind his three children. Emily (BJ) Cruickshanks of Duck, WV, Allison Grose of Clay, WV, and 

Owen (Makayla) Grose Chloe, WV. Richard also leaves behind four grandkids, Victoria Carte, Briar Cruickshanks, Rustyn Grose, and Stormee Holcomb.

In addition, Richard also is survived by his five siblings, Damon (Marla) Grose of Charleston, WV, Kay (Buck) Morris of Chloe, WV, Teresa (Jimmy) Fitzwater of Duck, WV, Christie (Brian) Johnson of Hartville, OH, and Jack (Misty) Grose of Charleston, WV.

Along with so many Nieces and Nephews that loved him greatly, Richard may by gone but never forgotten.

Funeral Services will be held at the Wilson-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, beginning at 12 noon, on Tuesday, February 25, 2025

Visitation will be open to the public from 11:00 am to 12:00 PM same day.

Pastor Freddie Schoolcraft will be officiating the service. 

Service will conclude with burial in the Grose Cemetery on O'Brien Rd. Duck, WV.
