Ricky Joe Morton

Ricky Joe Morton, 77 of Lizemores, WV went home to be with his Lord and Savior on November 12, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Sandra. His daughter, Lori and sons, Steve (Elizabeth) and Andrew. Ten grandchildren, Carter (Destinee), Ashton (Summer), Brianna, Bailey, Braden, Grace, Zoey, Chase, Paislea and Alyana. Four great grandchildren, Sylus, Zakyn’e, Finnley and Luka. One brother, Kermit (Faye).

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Ernestine Morton; brother, Ronnie Morton and sister, Susan Ellison.

Ricky was a life long member of the Lizemores United Methodist Church. While he was a man of few words, his actions spoke volumes for his love for his family and friends.

A private memorial service will be planned at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made on his behalf at Clay County Bank.
