Rosemary Eleanor Fitzwater

Rosemary Eleanor Fitzwater, 79, of Clay, WV, departed this life on June 29th, 2024, in South Charleston, WV and was born on June 25, 1945, in Buffalo, NY. She was a cherished member of her community and loving figure to all who knew her.

Rosemary was known for her warm, friendly nature and her joy in meeting and conversing with people from all walks of life. She was a devoted mother; she nurtured and loved all children. She loved to sing, dance, and take evening walks. She was an avid gardener, finding peace intending to her vegetables and flowers.

She is survived by her daughter Felicia Dunlap, son John Fitzwater, four grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Rodney Fitzwater and son Keith Fitzwater.

Graveside service will be 11:00 am Monday July 15, 2024, at Sunset Cemetery, Fola Road, Bickmore, WV with John R Osborne officiating.
