Roy Lee Nottingham,74 of Hartland, WV went home to be with the Lord on February 6, 2022
Roy was the son of the late William Russell Nottingham and Mary Bessie McKinney Nottingham.
Roy was preceded in death by his lovely wife, Geraldine Lenore Nottingham and daughter, Lisa Rose Woods.
Surviving Family includes brothers: Kenny (Arbutus) Nottingham of North Carolina and Bill (Donna) Nottingham of Ohio. Sister, Nancy (Romie) Duncan of Texas, Half Sister Freda Nottingham of Ohio, Half Brother Tommy Nottingham. Daughters: Lori (Hyman) Peck of Lizemore and Angie (Leon) Holcomb of Cabin Creek. Grandsons: Joey (Erica) Woods, Justin (Maria) Peck, Brandon (Kristina) Peck, Cody (Tamera) Holcomb, Jeremy (Erica) Peck, Travis Woods and Toby Holcomb. Great- Grandchildren: Taylin Woods, Kacey Peck, Brayden Peck, Zayne Peck, Aaliyah Peck, Presley Woods, Kayden Peck, Tyson Peck, Easton Woods, and Kole Peck.
Roy Lee was a loving husband, father and grandpa. He retired from the coal mines and was previous owner of Roy’s Cash and Carry, Clay WV. His hobby was carpentry. He loved wood working.
Funeral services for Roy will be held on Wednesday February 9, 2022, at 1:00 pm. Viewing for friends and family from 12:00 to 1:00 pm at Wilson Smith Funeral Home in Clay, WV, Minister Adam Dorsey. Burial will follow in the Stewart Cemetery on Pisgah Ridge, Clay, WV.
